Terms and Conditions
CONDITIONS:
- All tuition and training must be paid for in ADVANCE.
- Students are required to inform English Access Gauteng in advance in writing, either in hard copy or per e-mail, of how long they intend to study at the school. Notice of intention to end studies must be given in writing one calendar month in advance, either in hard copy or per e-mail. Notifications per SMS or Whatsapp are not accepted.
- Students enrolled for private tuition are required to inform English Access Gauteng at least 24 hours in advance in writing if they are unable to attend a class. This can be done in hardcopy, per e-mail or per SMS / Whatsapp but a confirmation of receipt must be obtained. If students fail to do so the class will be forfeited.
- Students who already arrived in South Africa without a study visa in name of the School, and who decide not to attend the term registered for, they will forfeit 50% of the amount paid.
- Students who arrived in South Africa with a study visa in name of the School, and who decide not to attend the term registered for, they will forfeit 100% of the amount paid and their study visa will be immediately cancelled.
- NO REFUNDS will be made if the course is discontinued or attendance is interrupted for reasons out of control of English Access Gauteng.
- English Access Gauteng reserves the right to change the starting times of courses, classes and course content or cancel courses when it is deemed necessary.
- Fees are subject to yearly adjustments if applicable. Student will be notified at least 10 working days in advance.
- English Access Gauteng does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any student’s property or for any injury befalling a student while on English Access premises.
- Certificates will not be issued if any payment to the School is outstanding.
- Full course payment is required when booking a course. This course payment is non-refundable unless the course is discontinued by English Access Gauteng.
- The Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to be respected at all times.
- Students on study visas from the school who discontinue their studies without informing the school administration will be reported to the Department of Home Affairs and have their visas cancelled.
- It is up to the students to ensure that their documents and visa are up to date.
- If a visa is denied for whatever reason English Access Gauteng may refund the student but it has the right to retain 20% for administration fee.
